positive affirmations for everyday
I believe affirmations are both powerful words and powerful tools. When they’re repeated consistently, they help interrupt unhelpful thought patterns and reinforce self‑compassion, or treating ourselves like we would a good friend. Think of them as a reminder of what’s already true about you, even (and maybe especially) on days when it’s hard to feel it.
You can say them first thing in the morning or throughout the day, write them in a journal, put them on post it notes and place throughout your home or office space, or keep them on your phone as reminders you can go back to throughout your day. What matters most is choosing the ones that genuinely resonate with you.
Here are a few affirmations I use that reinforce self‑kindness ~ please feel free to use these or adapt them and make them your own:
* I am allowed to rest without guilt
* I will speak to myself with kindness, even when I’m struggling
* I will take things one step at a time
* I release what I cannot control
* I create space for self-care in my day
* I am capable of handling any challenges that come my way
* I trust myself to make decisions that support my well‑being
* I am growing in ways I may not see yet
* I give myself permission to move at my own pace
